The number, which is his first solo, is a medium ballad, which he himself composed the music.

Hi everyone.
Is everyone doing alright lately?
Last time meeting you guys at the MJ concert is already one month again.
Everyone brought a lot of greetings and encouragements, I’m sorry I couldn’t address it at that time, so I will use this letter to express my gratitude.
In the past month, disasters struck many places throughout the world, many innocent people passed away, to that I am very sad.

This past 14th in China, there was an earthquake in Qinghai yushu, through the news I found out about the thousands of deaths, many buildings crumpled, times like this are very hard, my heart is heavy with grief.
All the friends in China, are you guys alright?

Many are still recovering from Sichun earthquake, they are still rebuilding, and now this happens, Yunho and I will pray that things like this will not happen again, that more people will not lose their lives, also we want to show the victim’s family and all the chinese fans that we care and give our condolences.

I’m have always been very grateful of Yunho’s always supportive fans. Last time at MJ concert, fans from Korea, Japan, China, and many other places overcame many obstacles to come support Yunho, we are very appreciative.

Once again, I will pray for the victums of the disastors, and I give my condolence to the family members of the victims.

Sorry for making you wait. Since we have received a lot of strong demands and requests from everyone. We decided that we would continue Tohomobile for free. For more details please check Tohomobile site.

Regarding Tohomobile this time, we made the decision [of discontinuing Tohomobile] because we thought that we wouldn't be able to give you more reports considering Tohoshinki's current situation. However, since we have received many requests and demands from everyone, we are having an urgent meeting now. I'm very sorry but please be patient and wait for a short while.

I think Tohoshinki's fans will more or less be bewildered. This doesn't mean that SM Entertainment is bad. They (Tohoshinki) did talk to the Korean side, and it was a positive talk. Please give us a little bit more time. We will get it under control.

I heard about the discontinuation of Tohomobile from you guys (staff) just now. Did you make a mistake, is this true? If you want to do it, at least you have to tell President and me because we're also in charge of it! No matter what kind of reason you have, it's unbelievable that you guys decided on such important matter without our permission. President and I are already friends of Tohoshinki's fans. Even if it couldn't be helped, to discontinue it is something unbelievable.

NOTE THIS: Basically, there was a miscommunication between Tohomobile staff and the President&Vice President. The staff decided to stop Tohomobile on their own without asking for permission, making Chiba-san angry. As a result, they have decided to change Tohomobile from a charged service to a free service.

[TRANS] 04.22.10 DBSK & Big Bang Nominated for MTV World Stage Video Music Awards Japan (WS VMAJ)

Popular Korean idol groups Tohoshinki (DBSK) and Big Bang have been nominated in The MTV World Stage Video Music Award JAPAN (also known as WS VMAJ) for “Best Group Video” and “Best New Artist in a Video” respectively.

MTV Japan had announced on 21st April that DBSK had been nominated for this category with their “Share The World” MV. DBSK, who had declared their indefinite hiatus from the music scene earlier this month, will be one of the media’s focuses as it is still uncertain if all five members will be gathering again to attend this year’s award ceremony.

Big Bang, who received overwhelming response in Japan last year, is also nominated for the category “Best New Artist in a Video” with their “GARAGARA GO!” MV. Their attending of this award ceremony will further boost their popularity in Japan.

Korea’s female idol group, 2NE1, has also been invited to this year’s award.

This year’s VMAJ will be held on 29th May, at 6PM at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo.

NOTE THIS: Other nominated groups in the “Best Group Video” category include international artistes such as Backstreet Boys (Straight Through My Heart), The Black Eyed Peas (I Gotta Feeling), Remioromen (Kachōfūgetsu) and Tokyo Incidents (Nōdōteki Sanpunkan).

After the production decision of based-on original novel “Sungkyoonkwan yoosengdeulenanal’ drama was announced, it attached lots of attention . Right now, It is in the process of making decision for the cast and crew after finishing reading synopsis.

Now it seem like we revealed about the cast this soon.

Among all of them, Micky Yoochun really has the image that fits the role of Lee Sunjoon (Main Character) in all aspects so we casted him. Actually, for the pass time, he got so many offers from famous drama production but he rejected every of them.

The reason was he was already too busy to work as Dong Bang Shin Ki.

Apparently, all the offers for drama casting that were made and rejected actually were done by his agency more than himself.

Even he wanted to do acting but he had no chance at all.

Right now , It’s the time he has freedom to do any activities.
Right now, it seems like the right time for him to think about it and we heard he maybe has time to prepare for drama too so we offered casting opportunity to him and finally he decided to accept to cast for Lee SunJoon for Sung Kyoon Kwan Scandal.

Micky Yoochun has lots of passion for acting and for music too.

Actually, at first he hesitated about casting.

He doesn’t have confidence about it at all even he is so successful with his singer career. He said he doesn’t have self-confidence about acting , his acting skill is still not good and he’s really scared of going in to acting field.

I never think that someone from so popular group like DBSK will have this kind of thought and I really admire to see him so humble and have good posture.

He will definitely absorb his role as LeeSunJoon magnificantly.
He has a secret prepare for this gradually. His fan just found out some time ago.

[NEWS] 04.18.10 DBSK Establishes Record In Japan

Dong Bang Shin Ki announced the suspension of their activities as a group on April 3, but it is true that they left a significant legacy in the Japanese music industry.

Dong Bang Shin Ki debuted in Korea with their single entitled “HUG” in 2004 and garnered every Rookie of the Year award. The next year, they also debuted in Japan with the song “Stay With Me Tonight” and since then, they have released 30 singles and four albums in Japan and have grown to become star artists.

When Dong Bang Shin Ki’s 30th single “Toki wo Tomete,” which was released March 24, ranked atop the Oricon single chart, they established a new record. They have ranked in first place on the Oricon single chart eight times, which is the most number of times for a foreign artist. The previous record was seven times, which they also set.

In addition, their first best album “Best Selection 2010,” which was released last February, sold 410,000 copies in the first week after being released. Due to this fact, they also ranked atop the album sales five years since their debut and recorded the largest sales volume as a foreign group.

According to a person in the music industry, the single “Toki wo Tomete” and the album “Best Selection 2010“ reportedly sold as many as 300,000 and 800,000 copies, respectively. Dong Bang Shin Ki began their activities in Japan as unknown singers, but they became star artists in Japan by selling more than 513 albums even in the midst of a music sales slump that lasted until the end of March.

Even after their announcement about their suspended activities, the ranking of their single “Toki wo Tomete” has newly ranked in 38th place in terms of the number of downloaded ring tones, risen from 7th place to 3rd place in the category of video clips, and also risen from 2nd place to 1st in video ring tones. Those rankings are showing that their fans are still highly interested in their music.

Dong Bang Shin Ki appeared on NHK Kouhaku UtaGas for two consecutive years in 2008 and 2009, and they also won the best album award in the Japan Record Awards. Additionally, they successfully held a concert live at the Tokyo Dome over two days, with all tickets sold out, in July last year.

The DVD of their Tokyo Dome live released at the end of September last year sold 171,000 copies during the first week of sales and capped a splendid achievement by ranking atop DVD sales for the first time for Asian artists.

As of April 12, a total twelve of DVDs which Dong Bang Shin Ki have released in Japan are listed in the top 200 list, and seven DVDs among them are listed in the top 100 list. Also, another DVD -- ”Tohoshinki Video Clip Collection - The One” -- which has reached number one by selling 109,000 copies during the first week of sales after its release on March 17, remains in the top 10 for DVDs since that time.

Due to those splendid achievements that they have made, Dong Bang Shin Ki ranked in 3rd place on the Oricon Yearly Singles Ranking for 2009 following the Japanese idop groups Arashi and Exile. The ranking was decided based on the total number of sales of singles, albums and DVDs, and Dong Bang Shin Ki recorded 6.89 billion yen (about 8.26 million won) in total sales.

Meanwhile, after the suspension announcement made on April 3, their fans left about 15,000 messages over only three days until April 6, wishing for the group's continuation and comeback.

Japanese music critic Tomisawa Issei delivered his analysis at an interview with the Japanese press, saying, “Due to Dong Bang Shin Ki’s suspension, their Japanese agency Avex might have incurred losses of a minimum of three billion yen to a maximum of five billion yen [approximately six million won] in sales.”

Even with Dong Bang Shin Ki’s announcement to suspend their activities, the Avex agency officially announced on April 6 that the official Japanese fan club “Bigest,” with more than 120,000 members, will still remain intact. At present, the five members of Dong Bang Shin Ki are preparing for individual activities as actors in dramas and movies and as solo singers.

DBSK members who are in dispute with SM Entertainment regarding exclusive contract issue; Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun are forming a three members unit in Japan.

According to the news aired by KBS 2TV ‘Entertainment Tonight’ on the 17th, Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun are forming three members unit to explore new activities.

Official from DBSK Japan agency, AVEX said, “The three members Junsu, Jaejoong, and Yoochun are already decided to form a new unit. The three will be active by continuing with new exclusive contract from AVEX.”

Regarding this, DBSK agency SM Entertainment which had been appealed by the three DBSK members related to exclusive contract provisional injunction, promptly filed a lawsuit in claiming for damages worth 2.2 billion won as expression of their strong regret.

However, AVEX official through conversation with ‘Entertainment Tonight’ retorted, “I think the 3 members are more like the victims here. Anyway, we’re done preparing for the compensation of damages. We did this (the Japan contract) because the situation allows us to make a contract. We see no legal problem at all.”

Fuji TV drama ‘Sunao Ni Narenakute’ had its first broadcast on April 15th and it was revealed that the drama reached average rating of 11.9% in Kanto area and 12.0% in Kansai.

The drama is written by Kitagawa Eriko starring Eita and Ueno Juri as the male and female lead actress. The drama story is focussed around a group of youngsters who meet each other through social tool ‘twitter’, Jaejoong from DBSK also stars in this drama and becomes a hot issue.

After the announcement of DBSK activities suspension, this is the first Jaejoong’s individual activity that has started. Acting together with Eita and Ueno Juri, this most famous South Korea star in Japan showed a natural acting skill and is fluent in Japanese as well. Jaejoong role is as a Korean medical equipment salesman therefore he has to dress in a neat suit. As a salesman who is distressed because he couldn’t increase his sales achievement and as a young man who falls in love, it’s reported that various expressions of him have been revealed

Many opinions among Korean fans after watching the show, “He looks beautiful and really stands out.” “Once this drama is airing in Korea, I need to study Japanese to understand.” In addition, at the scene where Jaejoong talked to his troubled younger sister in Korean, some fans said, “To hear Jaejoong talking in Korean after a long time, it’s really delightful.”

SM Entertainment had attributed the main reason for the "DBSK's Lawsuit" to be the cosmetics investment business by some of the DBSK's members and used this reason as justification to propose a 2.2 billion won in damages from the 3 members.

The declaration that SM Entertainment had submitted to Seoul Central District Court on 14th April claimed that "Some DBSK members had invested in a cosmetic company which resulted to be the beginning of the conflict. They have used DBSK's name and portrait without the company's consent and that have violated the exclusive contract. However, they denied the effectiveness of the exclusive contract and proposed the disposition for the effectiveness of the termination of the exclusive contract". During November last year, China Beijing Kowloon Station Century Culture Communication Co. Ltd* (Gao Jian Wen, Representative. Also known as Beijing Kowloon Station Inc.) had used "The fraud of Crebeau which is the collaboration between DBSK's 3 members and Korea Cosmetics Company, Wisyaplus had caused their damages" as the reason to apply for legal action for the damages compensation at the District Court. Recently, the cosmetics company, Wisyaplus announced that "Beijing Haidian District People's Court rejected the Beijing Kowloon Station Inc's claims" and revealed the China Court's arbitration decision documents.

According to the open verdict, the court had rejected all the arbitration applications from the applicant (Beijing Kowloon Station Inc.) and the applicant will bear all the costs for the arbitration (38,470 yuan = 5,635 USD). DBSK's 3 members has nothing to do with the cosmetics company promotion and this was ultimately confirmed by the China Court. And SM Entertainment have been using the photos of the 3 members attending the investment seminars to suspect if the 3 members had directly or indirectly carry out promotional activities.

On the other hand, the cosmetic company's representative, President Kang Suk-won had expressed towards the accusation of SM Entertainment attributing the main cause of the DBSK's lawsuit with the members' cosmetics business that "The police investigation has already shown that the reason behind the DBSK's lawsuit has nothing to do with the cosmetics. However, SM Entertainment once again entangled with it. Therefore, our company will propose a reputation damage lawsuit again for the third time".

President Kang Suk-won claimed that "The reasons why DBSK's 3 members had filed a lawsuit towards SM Entertainment are because of the unfair contractual relationship and unjust distribution of income distribution. This fact has been ruling in the injunction application and it was confirmed. However, such behaviour seems to have become a kind of inertia for SM Entertainment in order to rescue its company reputation".

Wisyaplus had already filed the reputation damage and impede business lawsuit towards SM Entertainment twice in August and November last year. Seoul Gangnam Police Department investigation ended in February and make the decision of without detention and transfer investigation towards SM Entertainment representative, Kim Youngmin. At that point of time, the police had already made a judgement that "The lawsuit of ending the long term exclusive contracts requested by DBSK's 3 members had nothing to do with the cosmetics investment".

Mao Asada, the famous Japanese figure skater who recently won the 2010 World Figure Skating Championships and earned at silver medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics, is said to be a big fan of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki. The story comes from MT News where they source a Japanese Magazine report on Mao Asada’s love for DBSK.

The magazine has a photo of Xiah Junsu and states that she is a big fan of his. The report also states that after her April 8th Stars on Ice performance in Tokyo, Japan, Mao visited a famous Korean restaurant with her mother and older sister. The restaurant is said to be frequented by Hallyu stars 류시원 (Ryu Siwon) and 박용하 (Park Young Ha). The restaurant is also said to be one of DBSK’s favorite to visit.

One of the employees of the restaurant gave an interview with the magazine and stated that Mao Asada asked to be seated where DBSK usually sits (on the 4th floor), more specifically, the exact same seat where Xiah Junsu usually sits. The employee also stated that they enjoyed dining on the Korean dishes such as Galbi-jjim, Bulgogi, and Sam Gae Ttang (Chicken Soup).

[INFO] A Message to Cassiopeia from an H.O.T Fan

it's not just now. T__T

Though it fits us..right now...

“Hi~ I’m a current member of club H.O.T,
and am a fan of the now broken up group, H.O.T. ^^

These days the group DBSK have been performing a lot
and have caught my attention.
Not only that, I heard that one of the DBSK members was a
very big male fan of H.O.T., and that’s how I first started to
learn more about DBSK

As I watch the way they act and their performance,
I couldn’t help but to think that they are very similar
to H.O.T when they first started

H.O.T is seriously the god’s to our generation,
so for people that were born around 82, 83, etc.
No one probably understand what they meant to us…

After Seotaiji and boys broke up, H.O.T. saved the
kpop music scene that was completely dying out.

All the teenagers were pulled into H.O.T.,
and within a year of their debut they received the top music award.
Out of all the major awards that H.O.T received, there must be awards
from at least 10 different music/television companies

When I see DBSK right now, the past H.O.T. fills my mind.
I was a freshman in high school when H.O.T. first debuted.
Now I am 22, and even today, when I go to performances or
concerts, I am looked as a young girl ^^

I heard that the majority of DBSK fans are junior high students,
and although many people say that they are young fans,
we were exactly like that too.

Whenever people saw us they called us H.O.T fanatics.
But then what about now? Even after 8-9 years
we are still here watching over them.

We hope that all the DBSK fans follow in our footsteps ^^

Liking H.O.T. for about 9 years,
I would like to give a little heads up and warnings about the company SM.

I am someone that had a voice within the H.O.T fan club.
So I know a little more about the company SM, than most fans or normal people

At this moment, many H.O.T. fans have ventured out ^^
There are some that have become stars, others that became famous peoples’ coordis,
and even some that have been hired into SM

Through these people we have learned that,
what we believed to be unfair treatment by SM, in reality, was very much true

SM claimed that the 2nd H.O.T. was blackbeat, but after their failure
they tried once again, and that group is DBSK

Silently leading the group with wit and talent, YoungWoong JaeJoong.
He is like MoonHeeJun.
Leader in dance, with the aura of a tough guy, but sometimes very cute, UKnowYunHo.
He is like JangWooHyuk.
Lived in the states, and able to speak English, very charismatic and outgoing, MickyYooChun.
He is like Tony.
With looks that can be looked as almost famine, and the image where you want to take care of him, ChoiKangChangMin.
He is like Kangta.
Looks that can be looked as average, but the type of person that the more you see the more you like, XiahJunSu.
He is like LeeJaeWon.

Two group that really have a lot in common, DBSK and H.O.T.
Maybe that’s why, but we H.O.T. fans are genuinely scared that
the DBSK fans will have to face the hurt and disappointing ordeals we had to go through.
Especially because all of you are so young.

SM is honestly a dangerous place.
As you like DBSK more I am sure that your hatred for SM will only grow

The first time H.O.T. began to get battered by LeeSooMan was during the beginning of their 3rd album
I’m not sure if you heard their 2nd album song, “Heng Bok”
That is the song H.O.T. received the DaeSang award,
and the album after that for every little mistake, they were hurt.

At that time, I believed that no matter what, it was merely just rumors
Slowly, everything I believed were rumors, were slowly turning into realities

By any chance do you know of Andy of ShinHwa’s incident?
For awhile he was on stage wearing a mask wasn’t he?
SM said some unbelievable stuff saying that he ran into something
or that JunJin fell while taking a shower.

Everyone continuously told us different things.
The important factor is that they ran into something or fell,
but why was only his mouth hurt? How come there were no signs of anything near their forehead or nose or any other facial part?

A few days before, Andy went into the SM building, and when he came out
he was wearing a mask, which many fans noticed.
Honestly, at that time I didn’t believe it.

After JTL left SM, even after they released their album,
they weren’t able to properly perform for a good 2 years.

Their schedules continuously got mysteriously cancelled,
and on cable t.v. their music video was not even showed ONCE.

That wasn’t the famous SM-JTL boycott.
Boycott…

SM went to every television company and threatened that
in the case they brought JTL onto their broadcasting list, SM would pull out all their singers from that company

Many fans called JTL’s company “YeJun Media” and asked what was happening,
but even from there they did not know.

This is a famous event,
It was when MoonHeeJun’s 2nd album was supposed to come out

Fans were sleeping in front of HeeJun’s house,
when HeeJun’s mother came out and began to cry like no tomorrow.
She was begging to the fans to save HeeJun…
“Please save my HeeJun…”

HeeJun’s first album sold 600,000 copies.
But SM said, “Merely 600,000?!”

They said they didn’t want to invest in his 2nd album.
So for HeeJun’s 2nd album, his music video, and jacket pictures…
he poured out his own money and savings.

Everyone.
Buy their album. That is helping DBSk.
Whenever H.O.T albums came out, we fans bought AT LEAST 2 copies.
That’s the only reason whenever a new album came out they were able to surpass 1 million album sales.

And for that fact only…
that’s the only reason the members were able to collect a little bit of money.

H.O.T. boys…
for every album they received approximately 2 cents.

After Boa released her first album,
she received 50 cents per album.

For five people if it’s 2 cent, that means its not even a quarter cent per person.

Then you might ask…
“What about the commercials and photo albums, and all the other side things H.O.T did?”

To keep it simple,
the only money H.O.T members make is through album sales.

Any commercials, and any shows, anything,
all that money goes to SM.
So its basically an unjust contract, a slave contract.

We heard that the contract between DBSK and SM is immense,
but that’s not always a good thing.

When one leaves SM you must pay a fee that is much higher than the contract,
and basically its to stop singers from leaving
Not only that they will take out a percentage of one’s profits if one leaves.

Do you think the term “slave contract” came out of nowhere??
DBSK right now…they are probably having a really hard time.

Do you all know this?
The president of SM isn’t LeeSooMan but, KimKyungWook.
To put it in lament terms…
Although on paper KimKyungWook is the president,
the person that makes all the decisions is LeeSooMan.

The reason,
SM has done a lot of illegal things.
And if those acts are caught, someone needs to be blamed.

So LeeSooMan screws up,
and KimKyungWook takes the blame.
If you look at it KimKyungWoo is a slave too. An SM slave.

H.O.T.’s old manager is currently working for a very famous company.
That person once said that H.O.T. are kids he truly feels sorry for,
and so they were kids that he wanted to save.

That person tried to take H.O.T. out of SM, but got caught by LeeSooMan
and was immediately fired. Right now he is working at SIDUS and is producing the group G.O.D.

That is the reason LeeSooMan hates G.O.D. so much.
So much to the point that any radio show SM singers host,
he makes it clear he doesn’t want to hear them putting on G.O.D. songs.

Even though slave contract, unjust contracts are against the law,
LeeSooMan is living quite fine.
He is truly a rich man. Someone with so much money it is unbelievable.
Although he waste a lot of money, he always has more.
We raised SM and then we were stepped on by SM and died.

All the money that came in from H.O.T was invested into BoA
and all the money they invested in BoA is being currently relearned.

But now H.O.T members have encountered so many scars,
and they are slowly being forgotten by people.

Along with Club H.O.T who set records as a fan club.
We all are being forgotten by people.

All of you will get older with DBSK.
We were the same.

We used to say that “we’re aging together,”
and these days those words sound so sad

As time goes feelings will be stronger,
and we sincerely hope that DBSK doesn’t endure the same scars from SM, as H.O.T. had.
Don’t take the same hurt as we did.

Within DBSK, create an awesome fan culture.
With every childless statement, the fan image is slowly ruined.

Become fans that think about what you say,
when announcing you are their fans.

Don’t ever be flattered by any rumors, and always trust the member.
Singers will never betray their fans.

Please don’t do things that they don’t like.
You shouldn’t ever make your favorite singer feel disappointed in you.

If you are going to believe this and that, or just move on to someone else,
then don’t like them from the start.
It will only be scars upon that singer/group.

As you grow older, even if you find a boyfriend

I just spoke to a Korean unnie about Yunho's injury and she is very clear about what's going on. Unnie told me that Yunho hit his kneecaps while he was dancing in the practice room. SM Entertainment, an agency locked in a dispute with a few of the members of DBSK, has called for these members to pay 2.2 billion Won (approximately 2 million USD) in compensation for damages while the three members’ side has stated that they were expecting this action and were calmly preparing against it.

According to the Seoul District Courts on the 14th, SME filed for a lawsuit to confirm the continued existence of the contract and an objection to the verdict of the Exclusive Contract Suspension Injunction against Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu, and YoungWoong Jaejoong.

SM stated, “The three members started this lawsuit only for ‘money’,” and “After the verdict for the injunction was given, the three members avoided their set schedules which caused considerable damage to the other members. We call for a compensation for damages of 2.2 billion Won for the cancellation of the Shenzhen concert and the fees for the cosmetic advertisements.”

In refutation to this, Lawyer Lim Sang Hyuk of Sejong Law Firm, who is in charge of the three members, stated that, “This was something we’ve been expecting,” and “We should be the ones filing for compensation for damages. We will calmly form our rebuttal against this lawsuit.”

After learning of the lawsuit on the 13th, Lawyer Lim stated, “Since we saw this coming and prepared for it, we will carry on calmly.”

It can be said that the legal dispute between the three members of DBSK and SM Ent. are about to become more heated.

The survey results in Japan has been released. The popular idol girl group "AKB48" and their fans both selected Tohoshinki as their favourite group.

Among the 4001 participants of the survey, 77% of them were male. Apart from the usual questions such as "When did you become a AKB48 fan", "Which member of AKB48 would you most like to be your younger sister", "What time of the day makes you think of AKB48" , the survey also asked "Apart from AKB48, which other group's merchandise (including albums) do you buy the most of?"

The surprising result was that Tohoshinki won #1 on the votes. This result prompted Japanese music site "BARKS" to start a topic (Not sure whether it was an article or just a forum post) "The unexpected connection between Tohoshinki and AKB48 fans", to which netizens expressed their surprise to. Replies included "Tohoshinki, as expected, is the strongest Haliyu group" and "We can't deny Tohoshinki's popularity". Other replies related to Tohoshinki included "Since when have the AKB48 fans, those who have bought over 100 of their albums, start to become Tohoshinki's fans as well" and "It is impossible to discern these fans' sexual orientations", which hence created all types of debates and discussions.

DBSK trio will have their first solo career step.

The D-day is in May!

It’s been revealed that the three members of DBSK namely Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun are on their way to create a fully-planned project. They had started it on last 6th – 7th with a warm-up activity, filming for Lotte Dutty Free commercials. This ad shooting has been gaining public attention as it’s their first schedule appearance together this year. This ad is expected to be a comforting news for fans who are heart broken due to their simultaneous inactivity announcements both in Korea and Japan. Recently, the Korean fans including those in whole Asia are already paying close attention to any activities or appearances coming from these three.

Another interesting issue is how the three members will embark on their singing activities as well. The Japan company AVEX only said that one that was in suspension was the future activities of DBSK. There’s no issue about the members would stop their own singing activities. The members still can get any chance to continue singing as their main job. From the fact that DBSK songs can’t be sung altogether even in a fan meeting, it becomes the reason why in the future singing activity seems to be necessary.

Thai TVXQ!’s fans gathered together in website pantip.com donated about 50,000 Baht (1,538,000 Korean Won & $1,375.06 USD) to relief the Haitian earthquake victims.

Although the lawsuit between DBSK’s members and their agency has not dissolved yet, DBSK’s fan club in Thailand still continues their activities to support 5 members of DBSK with uttermost effort. This charity activity in the name of “DBSK” began with fans gathering at website pantip.com/chalermkrung in the DBSK’s lawsuit news threads, aiming to update the news about this lawsuit and share various opinions about their situation and the fans also held 2 fan-meetings. This donation included the surplus from the entrance fee of both meetings, 18,750 Baht and 9,975 Baht respectively. After open for more donation since mid-January until the 30th of March 2010, another 15,775 Baht was donated. At the end of March 44,500 Baht was collected altogether.

On the 2nd of April, the representative of Thai DBSK’s fans donated this amount of money in the name of "Jung Yunho, Kim Jaejung, Park Yuchun, Kim Junsu, Shim Changmin with Thai Fans" to the program “Thailand's donation to Haiti through the Thai Red Cross Society”, received by Narumol Chaimongkol, assistant director of the Red Cross Society finance department.

Ms. Busarawan Chaidaisuk, the representative of the fans for this donation stated that fans are very pleased and proud to do this charity activity. Initially, the fan meetings were held in order to encourage each other spirits and show their continuous support for DBSK. NOTE THIS: KO-san updated his blog with the entry yesterday, but for some reason he deleted it. However, fans were able to get a hold of what the wrote before he deleted the whole entry.

I had a lot of troubles to decide whether or not I should write this blog entry.

I've been working with them for 4 years.

Coming back from America, I went to their 2nd Tour's audition without knowing who they were.

They were Tohoshinki.

I was able to learn a lot during their tour.

It took me 4 years to remember their names.

I'd always wanted to return to America, but then I came that by working with them, it actually became meaningful for me to stay in Japan, and that was something that I could be proud of.

It was also the first time that my family went to watch me on stage.

Our dancers were a family.

We've made a lot of memories up until now, and I love everyone way so much it's unbelievable.

I also really want to say thanks to avex's female staff members who have put all of us together, the people who have worked with all their minds for the sake of the tour even and taken care of it more than their own personal matters.

We laughed a lot, talked a lot, and sometimes cried together. And we also danced together. I also want to say thanks to my girlfriend for all of her uttermost efforts.

Thanks to them (Tohoshinki), I was able to meet you guys.

And thanks to them, I might have become a little more filial?

The more I write, the more I can't stop my tears.

I have never once heard any complaint coming from them.

As a leader, he was doing his job so well, and he also put his most uttermost efforts into dancing. He's also the one who talked to us the most. I really loved his adlibs, his break dances, and his opening parts.
During "Summer Dream" we played rock-paper-scissors a lot, and I won! LOL

Changmin
It took me 4 years to remember his name. The one who's always diligent and serious yet a very gentle and kind person. However, he completely became a different person when he got on stage, and it was very interesting to watch his suddenly change. He always read book in the resting room, and was always serious in whatever he did. I still remember his smile in "Sky" even now. From the minute he was told to do his work well, he really did his best. No, really, he was really doing his very best.
I want to become Changmin in front of my family! But who am I now! LOL

Jejung
Can I say that he's the loneliest? He's the one who makes the most eye contacts with everyone while singing~
He has such a beautiful voice that always fascinated us. When I just came back after my injury, Jejung was the one who was shouting out for me the loudest from the stage. When Junsu injured himself too, he was the one who rushed to him the fastest, and also the one who was the most worried.
JeJung is a very gentle and deep person.

Junsu
Normally he's a big idiot? He's very charismatic on stage, and he always practiced his oyaji gags with me seriously.
I cried at his singing voice, and whenever I saw him dancing, his tension was always at its MAX.
When everyone already decided to choose "Rainy Night" as JunSu's solo, with a face that was happier than anyone else, he asked me in front of everyone, "Ko-san, what do you want?" and I thought to myself, "This guy is such an idiot!" LOL (NOTE THIS: the way Ko-san uses the word "idiot" here does not in anyway mean to insult JunSu, rather, he's saying it in a lovable and respectable way, because Junsu genuinely respected Ko-san's opinion even though everyone already made a decision)
However, later, at a place with no one else, he told me with a serious face, "Ko-san, I know everyone has a different opinion, so tell me, do you really think that it is the best?"

Because he's way too serious, I still remember that it was very hard to tell him things like "This part feels weird", "No, fix your lyrics", "Junsu's song is not good". Thank you for your singing and dancing to wonderful songs on a wonderful stage at that time.

When he injured himself, he cried.

Charismatic, he is really charismatic.

Yuchun
I think he's the one who's the closest to me.
Really, truly.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's too hard to write now.

The time when we swing the towel together, we decided on the winner, but we didn't do high-fives.

NetEase Entertainment reported on the 7th of April 2010 that the results of the survey by HMV Japan about the fans’ purchasing desires have been released. Tohoshinki dominated the list; Ayumi Hamasaki, leader of pop, was crowned number one among the female artists.

This time around, HMV Japan chose 4000 user accounts from their official website to take the survey; 50% belongs in the age group of 10-19. According to the evaluator, this age group has a very strong purchasing power.

The three had filmed the CF recently where it will be used for print in Korea and as print and video in Japan. All 5 DBSK members had endorsed Lotte Duty Free Shop last year, but only three are filming for the new CF now.

The representative for the three said on the 8th, “At the end of last year, the contracts were recognized by the court as ones that needed to be suspended. The three tried to get rid of the long term contract and the court accepted that so right now, they are not under their long term contract. This means, that their Korean and international activities shouldn’t be a problem. They are now working on dramas, CF endorsements and also preparing themselves as solo singers.”

It’s not clear if the three can work under the name of DBSK but they didn’t use DBSK for their Lotte Duty Free Shop CF as they didn’t want to antagonize SM Entertainment.

Max Matsuura reported on his Twitter yesterday that BeeTV now has over 1,100,000 members.

Max: "BeeTV information! Yesterday at 13:30, the total number of members has exceeded over 1,100,000!!!"

On Max's Twitter, someone left a note saying, "I wonder how many people joined docomo to see BeeTV just because of Yuchun?"

According to AV Watch News and MSN News, BeeTV members exceeded over ONE MILLION on March 16th.

AV News reports that it grew to 900,000 members in January 2010. So, it took around three month for BeeTV members to grew 100,000 more. But this time, it took less than three weeks to grow from 1,000,000 to 1,100,000 right after the vice president of Avex announced Yoochun's BeeTV drama appearance.

Because DBSK’s Yoochun is hard at work with his new Japanese mobile tv drama Loving You, I thought he would be staying in Japan for a longer period. But it turns out we’ll be seeing Yoochun in Korea very soon.

Surprisingly enough, Yoochun will star in a historical drama.

So I’m guessing we’ll be seeing this pop star in some hanbok. He has been cast in the upcoming drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Sungkyunkwan is a university that dates way back from the Joseon Dynasty and the school still exists to this day. The drama is a love story on the Sungkyunkwan campus.

He will play Lee Sun Joon, a character that has the brain, looks and money. He is a rich boy that falls in love with a girl that is cross dressing for some reason.

Yoochun said, “I had fun reading the synopsis. I want to meet Sun Joon very soon. I’m honored to play such an interesting character in my first project. I will work hard to greet the viewers with a good project and as a good character.”

Sungkyunkwan Scandal will begin shooting in May.

The popular group Tohoshinki’s Yoochun is going to be in a Japanese drama continuing with Jaejoong. Not only in Korea but in Japan, Tohoshinki’s activities had paused and Yoochun is going to start his solo activity by acting.

Tohoshinki’s Japan production Avex announced on the 5th on Tohoshinki’s official home page that “In June Yoochun will appear on the mobile drama broadcasting office Bee TV. They are filming right now”.

Yoochun’s actor debut information was out on the 3rd when Chiba Ryuhei Avex’s vice president and Bee TV president answered to a fans question saying “The drama Yoochun will be in is starting in June” and posted a picture o the script which spread through out the fans.

Yoochun will play what the Fuji TV is creating right now “Lovin’ you(tentative title) a Korean person who is the second generation of a financial group. The story draws a love story with a Japanese women. That person will be the actress who was in “Meichan no Hitsuji” and “Yamatonadeshiko Hichihenge” Omasa Aya.

It started from the leader Yunho’s drama “No Limit”, Jaejoong’s movie “Heavens Postman” and starting in April “Sunao Ni Narenakute”, Junsu’s musical “Mozart”, and who is filming right now Changmin’s drama “Paradise”. Now all 5 members of Tohoshinki is going to debut as an actor.

Their Japanese management company avex said that they would continue to support the members' solo activities, but to Japan and Korea, what would be the cost of losing this big name artist?

Last year, due to unreasonable contract period, packed schedule, and allocation of earnings, the 3 members of Tohoshinki went on an exclusive contract dispute with their Korean company, SM Entertainment. There have been reports that they are in the danger of disbandment.

Is this the end of DBSK as a group?

Fans of the top Korean boy band (aka Tohoshinki in Japan) are heartbroken over an announcement by Avex, DBSK's agency in Japan, that the group will suspend their activities, raising the possibility that they will disband and will work individually.

In July last year, DBSK members Micky Yoochun, Xian Junsu and YoungWoong Jaejong sued SM Entertainment, their Korean agency, to void what they call their “slave contracts”.

Since then, DBSK members have focused on their careers in Japan, releasing hit albums that topped music charts. However, they have not performed as a group in South Korea since the lawsuit was filed.

In October, the Seoul Central District Court issued an initial decision in favor of the three members by temporarily suspending their contract with SM Entertainment. The three were allowed to engage in independent activities.

The court has yet to issue a final decision on the matter.

On April 3, Avex announced on its website that Tohoshinki will suspend their activities.

“The activities of ‘Tohoshinki’ will be suspended, but our company will make our best efforts in order to support the activities of the five members, who possess outstanding talents and are promised with a great future, at full strength,” according to the translated Avex announcement posted on the international DBSK forum www.onetvxq.com.

“I am devastated already. Fans have constantly been keeping their faith. I will continue doing so but it just hurts so much to hear them stopping their activities,” a fan with the username smileyyvonne wrote on the forum.

Fan JJ91 added, “Hope this doesn't mean the end of the group DBSK forever. Also they didn't mention disbandment yet, so a little bit of hope is still left. Always keep the faith.”

While Avex didn’t say that Tohoshinki will be disbanding, there are telltale signs of this possibility.

Masato Matsuura, president of Avex, tweeted about Tohoshinki’s situation.

“I already did everything I could. In the end, the result is a bitter one. I will do my best to support their decision. If it is what they wish for, I believe that I should do everything I could within my limitation to support all of them who are already flying high. It doesn't matter what my standpoint is, my feelings are no different from the sadness of every Tohoshinki's fan,” according to onetvxq-translated Twitter message of Matsuura.

Bigeast, Tohoshinki’s biggest fan club in Japan with 200,000 members, announced that it is discussing whether to continue the fan club.

“The continuation of Bigeast is also under discussion of the Bigeast Office.We are sorry for making a nuisance to all the Bigeasts, but we will inform you [about the future of Bigeast] by the end of April, so please wait for awhile,” the fan club announced.

Bigeast also stopped accepting new members owing to the suspension of Tohoshinki’s activities.

Fans are hoping that DBSK members will hold a press conference or issue a statement to clarify about their plans.

DBSK is the most successful Korean artist in Japan. The group’s “Best Selection 2010” album has already sold 511,081 copies since it was released last February 17 and ranked second on Oricon Chart’s Top 10 albums this year in Japan.

Good evening, everyone!
After the announcement of Tohoshinki’s activities to be suspended, honestly…
since it was an official announcement,
I was not able to write in my blog, thinking about the severe reality.

One week before the announcement, I held discussions with a few of the Tohoshinki fans,
and talked about how to handle the issue in the future.

I do not think that the Tohoshinki members also felt better
after the announcement of “Suspending the activities”
For “regret, and then, understanding each other”, some period of time should be necessary.
I have lived much longer than Tohoshinki,
I think I can say these words, based on my experiences.

Next week, all of your signatures will be delivered to the parents.
The petition will be delivered, too.
For the signatures, I have attached my letter.

On the 4th, a day after it was revealed that the popular, 5-member Korean group Tohoshinki is going on an indefinite hiatus, their official fanclub [Bigeast] received a flood of more than 6,000 emails of supportive messages on their site.
