DBSK's 4 years and 6 months of overseas travel has already amounted to 482,802km (yes, that's in kilometers)

Popular Idol DBSK has been on the move riding planes, how much distance has it exactly been?

DBSK holds the record of the most mileage of flight across Asia for SM Entertainment. Since April 2004 to September 2008 in a total of 4 years 6 months to a survey conducted overseas in the street DBSK averages of about 300,000 miles of overseas travel.

The circumference of the earth from North to South (father distance than the circumference of the equator) is at 40,000 kilometers. The Dong Bang Shin Ki members' travels have been as many as 12 rounds deployed around the international and domestic activities.

SM Entertainment says that TVXQ is on the way of taking over South Korea and the international world. The 4 album 'MIROTIC' charts number 1 in big places around Asia such as in South Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia and Taiwan.

All the members protest that Hero Jaejoong only takes pictures that the members do not want captured such as when showering or only wearing boxers. U-know Yunho stated that sometimes when the members are in the restroom, Hero Jaejoong would stick his hand (with his cellphone) in and take pictures. If Hero Jaejoong's cellphone, with the secret pictures that he took, was lost. Then that would be bad.

Hero Jaejoong explains that he does this only because the members are very important to him so he wants to capture the moments (of the members) that only he sees, as a way to treasure the memories.

Changwon hosts Ramsar Convention 2008 Introduction to 10th meeting of Ramsar Convention 2008

The 10th meeting of member nations of the Ramsar Convention, the international treaty for the conservation and sustainable use of natural wetlands, will be held in Korea’s Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, from Oct. 28th to Nov. 4th

Since wetlands cover a broad spectrum of nature, from rivers and peat-land to dams or artificial reservoirs, the Ramsar Convention is considered a gathering of all environmental issues and meetings are held every three years to discuss challenges, achievements and recommendations to protect the wetlands of the 158 member countries.

At this year’s meeting, the participants will adopt a "Changwon Declaration" under the theme of "Healthy Wetland, Healthy People." They will also adopt a resolution on the enhancement of biodiversity in rice fields as wetland systems. These two will be key to raising the status of Korea internationally.

The Ramsar Convention program comprises of various simultaneous events, including nearly 60 international symposiums, 20 cultural events and exhibitions, and other local festivals related to the convention, to celebrate the international gathering of the largest environmental event in the world.

[NEWS] 한효주 Interview: "재중 is still very Unnatural."

Actress Han Hyo Joo delivered her promise to do her best in the upcoming Japanese-Korean collaboration drama, “Heaven’s Postman.”

On the 22nd, Han Hyo Joo revealed through a phone interview that she liked the script ever since she saw it, and made the decision to accept the role. Also, the director was someone she’d worked with before in “Spring Waltz,” adding to her confidence.

About her role this time, Han Hyo Joo said, “In the past I had roles in history dramas or roles that weren’t compatible with my real age, but this time my role is just right for my age, so I believe I can show everyone my best.” She also expressed her anticipation for “Heaven’s Postman.”

The thing she’s spent the most time on for this drama is acting. She said, “We went through the script for the first time on the 21st, and interaction with the other actors is very important, but because this time we are working with many very famous people, we will focus on the quality of acting.”

Han Hyo Joo, who will be working with 둥방신기's 재중, said,” We met for the first time when we were going through the script, and since we aren’t close regularly, it was kind of unnatural.” She also stated,” Youngwoong Jaejoong attends activities with the identity of a singer, and I believe we can work together well this time to show everyone our best side.”

Also, “Heaven’s Postman” will begin filming in early November.
Release is set for May of 2009 in Korea.

Debuting on December 23rd 2003, 동방신기 has gained enormous popularity and supporters. Starting out with the bubblegum pop single, 'HUG', these guys were the 1st to sell so many debut singles.

_TVXQ!'s 2nd Korean album, Rising Sun, ranked #1 on the monthly charts and #4 for the yearly sales.

[NEWS] "Heaven's Postman" Kiss Scene

TRANSLATION:
This article goes pretty in-depth about the drama.

Han Hyo Joo and Kim Jaejoong are confirmed to be co-stars in their upcoming drama.

Jae will act as a messenger between the dead (who are in heaven) and their family and friends (who are still living). His character is very deep and mysterious.

Han Hyo Joo will act as a pure and innocent girl who lost her loved one but cannot forget him. However, after working with Jaejoong at the same job, she slowly falls in love with him.This episode of the mini-series is 120 minutes long, and the entire plot is a love story.

About the kiss scene, the director says that in the drama "the two (Jae and HHJ) have mutual feelings for each other. During a beautiful sunset, one of them (not specified) says 'I want to kiss you', followed by a very touching kiss scene." They have rehearsed the drama seven times already, and Jaejoong's acting has improved significantly.They will start filming next month, which will be adjusted into Jaejoong's schedule.

The drama is due to be aired May, 2009 on SBS.

[NEWS] Kim Jaejoong & Han Hyo Joo Confirmed Lead Roles in 'Heaven's Postman'

This clears up the whole "Where was Jaejoong?" during Hot Tracks fansigning. ^^

:EDIT: This will be a telecinema (just like DBSK's 'Vacation') which will run for 120 minutes and will be aired sometime in May 2009.

Rough Summary :

한효주 and 영웅재중 made an appearance (a conference maybe) this week to show the Korea-Japan collaboration in the upcoming drama, "Heaven's Postal Worker/Postman". This confirms them as the leading actors in the pool of cast.

The joint venture of Korean and Japanese writers who wrote for popular Japanese drama series and the director of hit series such as "I'm Sorry I Love You" and "Snow Queen" shown on KBS 2TV.

This is the first time the two renowned writer and director will be collaborating together. As the male lead 영웅재중 enjoys a very high popularity in both South Korea and Japan, the drama has already attracted much attention since its preparatory stage. [NEWS] 'MIROTIC' Ranks #1 on the Oricon Weekly

The news has spread all throughout the Korea entertainment news and even in Japan's Zoom In Super (Vid news) TVXQ has once again set record by obtaining their fourth consecutive number 1 Oricon Weekly single, still being the first foreign artist to do so.

Korea's 5-man group THSK's 24th single 「呪文－MIROTIC－」 sold 71k it's first week of release and topped the single rankings. Continuing from the singles THSK released: January's 「Purple Line」, April's 「Beautiful you／千年恋歌」, and July's 「どうして君を好きになってしまったんだろう？」, this is their 4th #1 and have overtaken SMAP, Arashi, and NEWS's number of 3 releases this year.

Also from that, the record of number of topping singles by a foreign artist they achieved with their last release 「どうして君を好きになってしまったんだろう？」 was updated to 4. They have widened the difference from 2nd place holder Ouyan Fifi/欧陽菲菲 (2 works).

[NEWS] 2oo8 Mnet KM Music Festival

The final list for 2008 MKMF nominee-and-song list has been released, and has also attracted heated response from music fans.

'2008 Mnet KM Music Festival (MKMF)’ will he head on 15th November. The list also be announced on 17th November on cable channel Mnet ‘Wide Ent News’.

This year, there will be 7 sections for the singers awards, 5 sections for genre awards, 13 sections for music video awards and other awards, with 3 DaeSang award in the total of 30 awards all together. To order to produce the fairest judging for the awards, much effort has been put into the judging system.

Especially exciting will be the showdown of the different boybands. There is 동방신기, who never fail not to clinch any of such awards, and also 빅뱅 who has been rising strong in the Kpop market in the 1 year and 7 months when 동방신기 has been inactive in Korea and promoting overseas.

[NEWS] 재중's Desire to...

RAP?! O___O

[[둥방신기’s vocal 영웅재중 recently revealed that he wishes to do rapping.

동방신기 was on SBS Power FM on 13th October on ‘이적’s Ten Ten Club’ where they introduced new songs from their 4th album on the show.
Track 2 of the album ‘Wrong Number’ was especially the hot topic of the day.
Vocal 재중 introduced the song together with the fact that this is his first time attempting rapping.

He said, “I really want to do rapping like crazy. The truth is that when we were recording the song, I felt embarrassed in front of the other members. I was curious how the members will receive it, and unexpectedly their reactions were good and I was relieved.”

Together, the group introduced their 4th album with live performances like ‘Afterglow’ which 시아준수 wrote the lyrics to.]]
